Session this week then holiday break

We have a session this week with a two-week break for the holidays. Session this Thursday, December 18th. NO SESSION DEC. 25TH NO SESSION JAN. 1 .. then we pick up again January 8th, continuing weekly. See you this Thursday!

Our show at Hopper House

The show opened on Saturday and looks so good. With Bill Sayles orchestrating the hanging, Liz Sayles and I hung the show and were really happy with it. I am so proud of the work we've all been doing. The show will be up until December 21- so please come by Hopper House if you have not seen the work, and if you miss it, come by and join us at a drawing session!

What an amazing turnout at this session; everyone was fired up for our show 'Focus on the Figure', up at Hopper House until December 21, 2008. Artist included here will be identified upon my return; I am posting this while out of the country. For those who have not been to one of our sessions, please come by. You will find a welcoming non-judgemental space to draw.

Show and sessions

Hi everyone, Two things: We ARE having a session this Thursday, back to weekly sessions, only breaking during the Christmas Holiday. Work submitted to the 'Focus on the Figure' show should be from our 2008 SESSIONS only. We are trying to get exposure for the artists that have participated in the program currently, and whose participation has in turn helped to fund the continuation of these drawing workshops. I am hoping it will build interest in the program as well, and 'Draw' them to us! See you this Thursday. Please check prior posting below for links to the site to download forms, and hand in your work today or tomorrow. Show is being hung Wednesday.

Focus on the Figure show information

Here is the key information for our upcoming show. The link will take you to Hopper House to download forms to enter work that you did during Hopper House figure drawing sessions. Click HERE . There will be NO SESSION on Thanksgiving. We'll pick up the following week with a female model, Jean. Hope to see you all there. Happy Thanksgiving!

November 20th session

WE had Lalainya modeling, and had a great turnout.
